Privacy policy

Who we are
Tibbun is made by Supportech Incorporated (“we”, “us”), a company registered in the United States. You can reach us at support@supportechinc.com.
What stays on your phone
Everything you do in the app is stored only on your device: the language and text size you choose, the cards you save to My Kit, the Sunnahs you mark as done, and how many times you have supported Tibbun. We never receive this information. Deleting the app deletes it.
Library updates
When you open Tibbun, it checks our server (tibbun.supportechinc.com) for a newer version of the library and downloads it if there is one. This request contains no personal information. Like any internet connection, it reveals your device’s IP address to our server; we use it only for a moment to protect the service from abuse (for example, limiting how many requests one address can make) and we do not store it.
“Report a mistake”
If you send a report, we receive: which card it is about, the message you type, the app version and the app language. We do not receive your name, email or phone number unless you type them into the message yourself. Reports are read by the Tibbun team (the owner and the scholars and editors who review content) only to correct the library. You can ask us to delete a report at any time.
Friday reminder
The Friday reminder is scheduled on your phone itself. We do not use push notification services, we do not receive a notification token, and we do not know who receives it. You can turn off notifications for Tibbun at any time in your phone’s settings.
Support Tibbun (optional gifts)
Gifts made in the app are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) under their own privacy policies. We never see your card or bank details. The stores give us sales reports with amounts and countries; these do not identify you to us. Nothing in the app is locked or changed by a gift.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or share personal information.
- We do not show ads or use advertising IDs.
- We do not use analytics, crash-reporting or tracking tools.
- We do not access your location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone.
Where data is kept
Reports and the library are stored on servers controlled by Supportech Incorporated. Our internet connection runs through a hosting provider (Hetzner). Reports are kept as long as needed to review and correct content, then deleted.
Children
Tibbun is intended for a general audience aged 12 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information in a report, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices and rights
Because we hold almost no personal data, the main thing you can ask is for a report to be shown to you or deleted. Email support@supportechinc.com and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law (such as the GDPR or California law), which we will honour.
Health information
Tibbun shares what the Prophet ﷺ taught and what scholars wrote about health. It is not medical advice and does not ask for or store any health information about you.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update it here and in the app, and mention significant changes in the app’s release notes.
